In the Kitchen
Head Chef Daniel Ashworth
Daniel joined Organic Trust Retreat in 2019 having previously led kitchens at two Michelin-recommended restaurants in London and a private members club in Mayfair. His food is rooted in British seasonality — honest, precise, ingredient-led — and he works directly with a network of local farms, market gardens and foragers to produce a menu that changes not just with the season but with the week's best produce. Every breakfast, lunch and dinner service at The Garden Table reflects his belief that food at a wellness retreat should nourish as much as it should delight.

Afternoon Tea
Our afternoon tea has become one of the retreat's most beloved rituals — unhurried, generous and prepared entirely by our kitchen team using the finest seasonal ingredients. Served daily between 14:00 and 17:30.
- —Hand-cut finger sandwiches: smoked salmon, cucumber and cream cheese, egg mayonnaise and cress, coronation chicken
- —Warm plain and fruit scones with Organic Trust clotted cream and seasonal preserve
- —Patisserie selection (four miniatures) chosen by the kitchen each day
- —Miniature cakes: lemon drizzle, Victoria sponge, pistachio financier, seasonal feature
- —Full loose-leaf tea selection with over twenty varieties
- —Optional Bollinger champagne upgrade (glass or bottle)
