Our Story
Built for a Different Standard.
Organic Trust Retreat was founded in 2012 by Dr. James Calloway, a former sports physician who had spent twenty years watching clients achieve results in environments that were entirely inadequate for them — crowded, impersonal, and built around volume rather than quality. He believed something different was possible.
Starting with a Victorian coach house set within twelve acres of private grounds on the south bank of the Thames in Richmond, he spent three years transforming the estate into what would become Surrey's most sought-after wellness destination. The performance facility, spa, and restaurant were built simultaneously, on the principle that genuine wellness could not be siloed.
Today, Organic Trust Retreat limits its membership deliberately — not as a commercial strategy, but because the quality of every visit depends on it. We are an adult-only club. We do not compromise on the standard of our people, our equipment, or our environment.

Charlotte Mills
Charlotte joined Organic Trust in 2018 as a yoga and Pilates instructor and has since built one of the most respected group fitness programmes in the South East. With qualifications spanning Pilates, barre, aqua fitness and personal training, her philosophy centres on making elite movement genuinely accessible — for all ages, all starting points, and all goals.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Organic Trust Retreat open to non-members?
The retreat is primarily a members-only club. However, spa day packages, restaurant dining and selected events are available to non-members. Contact us to discuss guest and day visitor arrangements.
What is the minimum age?
All membership categories are strictly 18 and over. We are an adult-only facility throughout — including the restaurant, spa and grounds. Valid ID may be requested at any time.
Is there a joining fee?
Current promotion: no joining fee on 3-month or 12-month memberships. Our no-commitment monthly membership carries a one-time £100 joining fee. Speak to our team for the latest offer.
Can I bring guests?
Monthly members receive one guest pass per month. 3-Month members receive two, and 12-Month members receive four. Guests must be accompanied at all times and are subject to the same age policy.
Is parking available?
We have forty on-site parking spaces available free of charge to members. Overflow parking is available on Petersham Road. Richmond station is a five-minute walk.
Are there changing facilities?
Yes — luxury changing rooms with individual lockers, rainfall showers and full grooming amenities. Annual members receive a permanently assigned locker.
Can I freeze my membership?
Memberships may be frozen for medical reasons or extended travel for up to eight weeks per year with reasonable notice. Please speak with our membership team.
Do you offer corporate memberships?
Yes. We have a tailored corporate programme for companies supporting employee wellbeing. Please contact us for rates and terms.
